Middlefield Fair

Dates August 12-14, 2011

7 Bell Road, Middlefield
Admission: Adults $6; Seniors over 50 $5; Children under 12 FREE

Friday gate opens at 4PM. Car, truck and motorcycle burnout contests at 6PM followed by a lawnmower pull exhibition. The "Rock Hounds" band will perform 7:30 to 10:30.

Saturday gate opens at 8AM. 4x4 truck pull starts at 12 noon; three classes of horse pulls start at 11am; open chili cookoff/salsa contests begin at 9am; home cooked meal served in dining hall 1-5pm. The "Summit Hill" band will perform 7:30 to 10:30pm.

Sunday gate opens at 8AM with an "All You Can Eat" Pancake Breakfast until 11am; The "Lulu & the Shoemakers" band will perform throughout the day beginning at 10am; three classes of oxen pulls starting at 12 noon; 2 wheel truck pull at 12 noon; "One Sharp Marriage" knife throwing act performs at 3pm; a home cooked meal served in the dining hall 1-4pm.

Over the weekend there will be many family oriented activities: free bounce house and jousting for children; free pie eating, chicken chuckin', chainsaw throwing, races, scrambles and other contests for fun. New and interesting farm museum exhibit. Petting zoo. Craft demonstrations. Great food, music and fun.

Rehoboth Fair

The new fairground is located on Almeida Road at Wehaton Rd in Rehoboth.
Daily admission is $7 for adults, $4 for children 6 to 12 years old and free for children under 6

Attractions for children are the petting zoo and live stock exhibits, also a Kiddie Pedal Pull where children compete riding tricycles while pulling a mini-sled for prize ribbons.
Adult fun centers around the tractor pulls, including: Garden Tractor, Mass Mini, and Southern New England Tractor Pulls set for Saturday, as well as Garden and Farm Tractor Pulls on Sunday. Bristol County Open 4-H Horse Show and Demolition Derby.
